Dr. Whitley Paden
Dr. Whitley Paden is a postdoctoral fellow at the Louisville OCD Clinic where she receives training and regular supervision in the treatment of OCD and eating disorders.
Dr. Whitley Paden is a postdoctoral fellow at the Louisville OCD Clinic where she receives training and regular supervision in the treatment of OCD and eating disorders.
She obtained her master’s degree and doctorate at Spalding University’s School of Professional Psychology. She completed her APA accredited predoctoral internship at Robley Rex VAMC in Louisville, KY. At Robley Rex, she received training in conducting forensic evaluations and treating PTSD. In addition, she co-facilitated a DBT-informed skills group for individuals with personality disorders and provided individual and group therapy for Veterans diagnosed with substance use disorders in a residential setting.
Dr. Paden has clinical experience treating adult clients with PTSD, substance use, anxiety and mood disorders, anger management problems, relationship difficulties, and personality disorders. She is trained in providing evidence-based treatment including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Seeking Safety, Relapse Prevention Therapy (RPT), Cognitive Behavioral Coping Skills Therapy (CBST), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Furthermore, she is a CPT certified provider, an evidence-based treatment for PTSD.
Dr. Paden enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, reading classic novels, and hiking with her husband and their golden retriever/Aussie mix.
