With a bachelors in Fine and Applied Art from California State University, I am formally trained as an artist. I also studied business and received a bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing and a masters in Management from John F. Kennedy University in California.

I worked in public relations and customer satisfaction and loyalty for several years, and enjoy working with the public and advocating for the customer.

I am also the founder of a nonprofit organization, Innovation Works, that helps teens design fulfilling lives through human-centered design and technology training. I enjoy helping people design systems and solutions that improve their lives and their organizations. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis and pickleball, and spending time with my three children – Logan, Leah and Lucas, my husband – Scott, and my dog – Vin, and cat – Lyra.
