Anna Smith, M.Ed., L.P.C.C.-S., N.C.C., graduated from the University of Louisville in 2020 with a Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Anna treats individuals suffering from eating disorders, OCD, depression, and other anxiety related disorders. Anna utilizes a cognitive behavioral and person-centered approach in therapy sessions to identify positive traits and attributes in each individual. She is passionate about guiding and assisting each person to identify and meet their specific goals. She has training in many evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Throughout her graduate career, she provided therapy for college students. She also provided intake support and assessment within the hospital emergency psychiatric department.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves visiting new places, trying new recipes, and creating core memories with her children.
